Poker League Information

The ebTalk Poker League is free event covered by donations. It is broken down into two different entities: The actual Poker League and Special Events

The actual Poker League is a points based system. It is a five session league consisting of a No Limit Texas Hold Em Tournament each night. You earn points on how you fare. Points are determined by the number of entrants in each tournament. After the five weeks, whomever has the most points is determined the Poker League Champion.

The Special Events are individual poker tournaments. They consists of all types of poker tournaments whether they be Texas Hold Em, Omaha Hold Em or another game. Events are held throughout the year and points are earned at each event. The person with the most points is determined the Overall Points Champion.

The Poker League Champion and the Overall Points Champion each earn an automatic event to the current year's Tournament of Champions which is a gathering of all champions of each event for that year. Other ways to earn seats to the Tournament of Champions is to win a poker league, place 2nd or 3rd in the poker league, or win a special event. The other way is to also win that previous year's Tournament of Champions.
