Scoring
This Tournament Pool uses a high peformance scoring method. The further in the pool you make correct picks the more points they are worth. Upsets are also rewarded generously. So making the safe picks may get you so far but if a Cinderella team comes crashing through, you could be in trouble! Be Smart, Choose Wisely.

1st Round - 1 pt per correct game
2nd Round - 2 pts per correct game

1st Round- .5 point
2nd Round - 1 point
Sweet 16 - 1.5 points
Elite Eight - 2 points
Final Four - 2.5 points
Championship - 3 PointsUpset Scoring: To get points for Upset Scoring a player must correctly pick a team to win a certain game AND that team must win the game as an upset (regardless of who they play as long as they are seeded higher).
Example: Jenn Sterger picks Alabama (#15 seed) over Kentucky (#7 seed) in a 2nd Round game. With Upset Scoring, if Alabama beats a higher seeded team (lower seed number) then Jenn would be awarded 1 point for a 2nd round upset pick plus 2 points for the second round pick. If this were a Final Four game, Jenn would receive 2.5 upset points and 9 points for picking the game correctly.
