THE FINAL FOUR IS SET
Who wins it all? North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA or Memphis? We'll find out Monday!

THE PERFECT ENEMY
Vegas currently has North Carolina as the favorites to win it all. The ebTalk Pool only had 22% of them agreeing. Check out the scenarios for everybodys picks for this weekend and the possible outcome!

WILL THE CITY BE DEAD?
Expect Wichita, KS to shut down Saturday night. With the big game versus old coach Roy Williams and his Tarheels, the streets could be empty.

NO KIDDING?
With Ricky looking on the left side of THE LIST, he now sees along with the rest of us that he dominates the leaderboard. Owning three of the top ten spots, including 1st and 3rd, he is in a great spot to win it all or place in the money.

FAVORITES?
15 people selected all #1 seeds to win and advance to the Final Four. The first time ever! It's gonna be a great one.

A KISS FROM A ROSE
Led by Derrick Rose, the Memphis Tigers became the third #1 seed to advance to the Final Four. Congratulations to the 36 people who correctly picked Memphis. Now history waits and see if Kansas can win and let 2008 be the year known as the only year all #1 seeds made it to the Final Four.

TWO DOWN - TWO TO GO
UCLA - North Carolina - ? - ?. Two spots remain. 75 people have selected Kansas to win while nobody chose the Davidson upset. #1 seed Memphis was chose to win 36 times compared to Texas's upset choice by 55 people.

PSYCHO SATURDAY
North Carolina rolls on as does UCLA, meaning two #1 seeds so far have moved on. With North Carolina and UCLA in the Final Four, Ricky Lamb sits safely at the top for another day. His sister is still back four points while other also made some big jumps within shooting distance of Ricky's lead.

LET THE MADNESS REALLY BEGIN
The Elite Eight starts now. Today the standings will take a major hit. Seven people have selected Louisville to win (vs. 82 UNC picks) and six have selected Xavier (vs. 87 UCLA picks). Those brave souls who chose upsets could shoot to the top of the standings. The real madness begins today.

Friday, 3/28/08

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU!
Ricky Lamb is still the leader of the pack by four total points. He is trailed by all other 112 entrants including his sister and Arien Dill who are just back four points. That makes tomorrow's UNC / Louisville game huge! The standings will have a huge shakeup after the outcome of that game.

CURRY ON MY WAYWARD SON
Stephen Curry has become the face of this year's tournament and unfortunately for everybody, nobody had the faith. Sixteen people had Wisconsin to win and were let down extremely as Davidson stays alive.

TEXAS TWO-STEP
The only two seed left, Texas advanced Friday night giving the six people who chose Texas another easy night's rest. Of all the people who chose Texas, the person who stands in the best position is Mike Olson who stands in 16th place right now.

WHO'S LAUGHIN AT ME NOW?
"Bam Bam" Ricky Lamb overtakes the top spot from his older sister who must have taught him well. At 70 points, he now has a one point lead going into Friday's games.

VOL-EY CRAP!
Another number two seed has been ousted as Louisville cruised to victory. This caused a major shakeup in the standings as 35 people correctly predicted the upset. Very big sorry to my little bro, Brian Brotemarkle who selected Tennessee to go all the way.

X-MEN UNITED
Well 28 people selected Xavier with the victory, standings changed (as 50 Cent would say) "just a little bit". Most noticably we finally have a new leader into the fifth day of play: Richard Lamb.

THE LAMBS CHOPPING UP THE COMPETITION
After four days of games, Penny Madden Lamb tops the charts for the past three of them. With the early lead she can relax until next weekend. In second is her younger brother whom she must have taught well, Ricky Lamb. Can anybody take down the powerful brother/sister duo?

For the 2nd year, nobody has correctly picked all Sweet 16 teams. The closest was Ricky Lamb who selected 13 of 16 of them. A final "Did You Know" to end your weekend. Did You Know......last year's champion after the 2nd round was in 4th place? That bodes well for Arien Dill who currently sits at the 4 spot.

DAVID SLAYS GOLIATH
Stephen Curry continues his string of upsets, knocking Georgetown out of the tournament. Four people correctly picked Davidson to move on: Brandon Kasel, Jeff Maddox (twice), Darin Petrie and Aaron Bushell. On the flipside, five people selected Georgetown to win it all.

WESTERN KENTUCKY FLYING HIGH
Western Kentucky is feeling sweet! No. 12 seeded WKU was selected by three people: Penny Madden, Ricky Lamb and Brandon Kasel . Although none of them has selected them to move into the Elite Eight, they are now all in the Top 5. The surprises keep coming on this Easer Sunday.......

SWEET 16? YOU VILLA-KNOW IT!
Twelve people correctly guessed Villanova to make it to the Sweet 16. One of them being Katie Kontz who jumped all the way up to seventh place. The only person to choose Villanova in the Elite Eight? Aaron Bushell. We'll find out next weekend!

Saturday, 3/22/08

KEVIN, SHOW ME SOME LOVE!
Many many people were holding their breath late Friday night as UCLA barely pulled away the victory thanks to Kevin Love. One of them being Penny Madden Lamb who has them as her champion. With that victory, Penny still holds the top spot after two days.

20 YEARS REVISITED?
With Danny Manning as an assistant head coach for the Jayhawks, can he help them reach what they did in 1988? Thirty-two pool entrants hope so as KU keeps rolling along to the Sweet 16 after their UNLV win.

CATS NOT SO WILD
Michael Beasley and the Wildcats ran into roadblock Saturday upsetting many local K-State fans. Fortunately for most, only 31 people selected K-State to win while only 7 of those picked them to go to the Elite Eight.

ACC You Later, Dukies!
Twelve people correctly picked West Virginia over Duke on Saturday afternoon. Great way to start off the 2nd round with 2 round points + 1 upset point. That helps out Penny Madden Lamb who continues to pull away. Too bad for the three who selected Duke to win it all.

• Kansas is the most popular selection on Saturday by 112 of 113 people followed by the 110 who chose UCLA over Texas A&M. Most popular upset choice? Try the 55 entrants who chose Notre Dame over the 48 picks for Washington State.

• Purple Pride is on the line as 31 people selected K-State to make it to the Sweet 16.

• The 2nd round now starts the Blow Out Bucks Pot. Those who selected the optional choice on the brackets can now root on their team to get the biggest blow out. Standings will be located on THE LIST.

Friday, 3/21/08

• When you only miss two games after one round, that usually means you're in good position. Penny Madden Lamb went 30 of 32 to take the lead after round one. Congratulations!

• An ebTalk record was broken Friday with 7 correct upset picks in the first round. The most ever. And that was done by Penny Madden Lamb.

• Unlucky 13 struck twice with Siena and San Diego pulling the big upsets. Only one person correctly chose both not once but twice: Melissa Jenkins.

• The perfect bracket? That all ended with Davidson's win early on Friday.

Thursday, 3/20/08

• We have reached over 100 entries in only our second year! Thanks to everybody who signed up.

• Arien Dill's shot at perfection continues as she went 16-0 on Thursday evening to take the early one day lead. Can she continue on?
